Sometimes crafting is less about a perfect plan and more about aggressively smearing ink until things look intentional. Today, we are channeling that exact energy into a mixed media card featuring the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Moth Study set and the matching Simon Says Stamp dies.

To give this card some extra drama, I built a see-through window using an acetate sheet from a past Simon Says Stamp kit (specifically, the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Transparent Layers). After a healthy session of ink blending and “smooshing”—I looked at the result, decided it needed even more chaos, and added another layer of color. It turns out that second-guessing your work actually pays off sometimes.

To tie the whole antique, aged look together, I pulled out the Tiny Text stamp. I used it to build a background made entirely of words, and then used it again to create the main sentiment. If you like paper crafts that look like they were pulled from a dusty, magical attic, this project is for you.Hopefully, this idea inspires creativity and thinking beyond the box idea. Wishing you a sunshiny and lovely day! Hugs, Tina
