How to Make Sweet Frosted Gingerbread Card (Without the Kitchen Mess!)

Hello, crafty cardmaking friends!

TToday, we are putting on our apron and entering the craft room kitchen. No flour, no actual baking, and absolutely zero risk of burning anything. We are assembling a delightfull gingerbread man card that looks good enough to eat—though I strongly advise against tasting the paper.

For this project, I am putting the Simon Says Stamp Gingerbread Man Embossing Folder, Cutting Die, and Stencil set through its paces. It is a fantastic collection that makes the sweetest card.

5 Easy Step Card Process

We are breaking this down into five steps. Now, total transparency: this project does require a pinch of patience. We are using texture paste to create a dimensional, 3D frosted effect on the background and individual die cuts.

Waiting for paste to dry is about as exciting as watching paint dry, but the final, raised frosting texture is completely worth the extra few minutes.

Grab your manual die-cutting machine, clear off some desk space, and let’s get making. Thanks so much for stopping by,  wishing you a day filled with crafty supplies, love, laughter and smiles! Sending crafty hugs, Tina. 💌

  1. Good morning, Tina!

Every morning when I am enjoying my morning coffee ritual, I open my email to find yet another beautiful, interpretation of one of your cards.

Tina, you are incredibly talented, and watching your easy to follow, step by step formula, which is entirely unique to your presentations fuels my creative flow for the day ahead. Kinda like one would use kindling to start a fire!

As I sit here in the beginnings of winter in Alberta, Canada, with a hot coffee and my heated throw, I just wanted to say, “thank you” for your dedicated consistently to share your joy and creative passion with others every morning!
