Crafting a Floral Birthday Cake That Won’t Trigger the Smoke Alarm

Hello, Crafty Friends!

To save everyone some singed eyebrows, today’s tutorial is taking a different approach. We are creating a magnificent, multi-layered birthday cake card that relies entirely on gorgeous flowers rather than open flames.

For this project, we are using a few of the Spellbinders November 2026 Club Kits. We are combining the crisp textures from the Embossing Folder of the Month, the clean lines of the Large Die of the Month, and a greeting from the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month.

Together, they create a beautiful, chocolate cake covered in elegant blooms. It is a fantastic way to honor someone’s special day without having to stand near a fire extinguisher.

Take your time assembling these beautiful layers and enjoy putting this together. Oh, and if you happen to enjoy a little bit of fiery drama, make sure to come right back here tomorrow. Those flaming candles are going to make a spectacular appearance in our next project.

Grab your glue, and let’s build this fun birthday cake card together. Wishing you a sunshiny and lovely day! Hugs,Tina
