Cardmaking in 5 Easy Steps – February 13, 2026 – Cards & Coffee Time

Buckle up, buttercup! Today we’re whipping up two birthday cards guaranteed to deliver all the happy vibes. We’re talking glitter, shiny balloons, and a giant “YAY” using a mix of shiny new Spellbinders goodies and some classic treasures from the stash.

These fall under my “5 Easy Step” rule because, let’s be honest—who has time for a 500-step marathon? Not this crafter!

I’m playing with the Aged to Perfection Collection today. Honestly, the name alone feels like a personal attack (but in a funny way), so I’m leaning into it with the HBD Balloons Etched Dies and the Spellbinders Exclusive Yay Die Set.

For the backgrounds, I used stencils and an embossing folder, but if you’re feeling a bit “lazy-chic,” some cute patterned paper works just as well. Oh, and keep an eye out for the Birthday Laughs Sentiments—they are genuinely hilarious!
