Craft Room Multi-Tasking: Foiling, Stenciling, and Embossing an Altenew Masterpiece

Hello, cardmaking friends!

Today, we are putting our craft supplies through an absolute marathon. If your die-cutting machine or ink blending brushes have been feeling lonely, this is the project to wake them up.

We are using the gorgeous Altenew Heirloom Filigree Bundle alongside the lovely Pond Lilies Die set, and instead of picking just one technique, we are doing every single one of them.

We are foiling the press plate, ink blending over the layering stencils, spreading dimensional relief paste for some fabulous texture, and finishing it off with some dry embossing. Not in that order.

It sounds like a lot of steps—and my desk is currently a beautiful disaster zone—but bringing all these layers together creates a breathtaking backdrop for those elegant pond lilies.

Grab a cup of coffee, clear off your workspace, and let’s go through the steps together to build this elegant, texture-packed encouragement card.

Thanks so much for stopping by, wishing you a day filled with crafty supplies, love, laughter and smiles! Sending crafty hugs, Tina.
