Hello crafty friends!
Let’s be honest: some people want Halloween to be all about cobwebs, creepy skeletons, and jump scares. I am not some people. If a monster doesn’t look like it desperately needs a hug, I simply do not want it on my cardstock.
Today, we are assembling a kinetic Halloween card that leans entirely into the “cutsie” side of trick-or-treating. We are using the newest Spellbinders Clear Stamp and Die of the Month Club kit, which features an assortment of monsters holding balloons. But these aren’t your average party balloons—they have little bats, ghosts, and pumpkins trapped inside them. It is absolutely adorable.
The star of the show is the built-in spinner mechanism. It adds that perfect interactive element, giving your recipient something to fiddle with instead of reading your heartfelt message inside. If you prefer your ghosts to look like friendly marshmallows rather than vengeful spirits, this tutorial is exactly where you belong.

This is adorable Tina. I wish I sent Halloween cards, but I don’t even get a single trick-or-treater where we live! 😦 Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so your cute card put a smile on my face. 🙂

I know the feeling. when we lived out in the country, no trick or treaters in sight. It made me feel better to leave a few Halloween cards and treat bags with tags on the mail box for the post man, I called him my only trick or treater, lol. 😉🫶

I love that idea (mailman trick-or-treater)! I will do that also as I love my “mail-gal.” Thank you for the idea. BTW I did ask for a mailing address to send you my version of your adorable “cooking dies.” If you are not comfortable with that, how about photos? My craft classes made a 4-sided box with your Spellbinder Dies and it turned out so cute. Thank you for being so creative! 🙂
