Hi, creative cardmakers!
For today’s tutorial, I challenged myself to use exclusively the Simon Says Stamp October 2026Card Kit. No wandering off into the depths of my craft room—just pure, kit coordination.
I immediately gravitated toward an image in the Homespun Gratitude stamp set featuring a coffee cup wrapped snugly in a scarf. It speaks to my soul. If I could physically wrap my morning caffeine in a tiny wool garment to keep it safe from the crisp autumn air, I probably would.

I leaned heavily into rich autumn colors of the kit. Instead of keeping things flat, I added a heavy dose of embossed texture to give the background some serious dimension. It feels less like a flat piece of paper and more like a tactile, comforting autumn afternoon. To finish it off, I added a simple, heartfelt greeting: “with love and gratitude.” It’s sweet, direct, and doesn’t overcomplicate a card that is already bursting with seasonal charm.
