Hi there, creative friends!
If you walked up to my house right now, you would see wreaths. On the front door & on the garage door. Honestly, if my family stood still long enough, I would probably hang a wreath on them too. I just adore them.
Today, we are using the gorgeous Winter Wreath Die set to skip the traditional, loud holiday colors. Instead, we are leaning into a soft, vintage look using coral and chiffon tones. Think of it as a cozy, elegant Christmas card that smells faintly of oranges and cinnamon.
To give it that rustic, vintage distressed look that makes everyone feel instantly fancy, I die-cut the word “JOY” out of kraft cardstock. Then, because a little sparkle never hurt anyone, I added torn glitter cardstock for some subtle pizzazz. Finally, I did some messy ink smooshing with brown ink and added white splatters. It looks perfectly rustic, slightly weathered, and 100% beautiful….I think and hope you do too!

Distressed Elegance=Magnificent! Like, seriously! This is stunning and all the details just make this card outstanding. I am blown away by the mixture of distress and elegance happening here. The way you cut the letters and added the shadow and mixture of glitter and solid tone letters was a great idea. The background looks just as pretty as your focal and that focal shines with all the accents. Reminds me of those beautiful wreaths you’d find at the pottery barn. I’m literally clapping! I want this wreath on my door! LOL
