Cardmaking in 5 Easy Steps – Cards & Coffee Time – July 07, 2026
Hello Crafty Cardmaking Friends! I have a simple five-step project that pairs those favorite and loved items sitting in your stash with some shiny new treasures.
For this project, we are playing with a few pieces from the Spellbinders Timeless Textures Collection by Simon Hurley. Specifically, I used the Flowing Florals 3D Embossing Folder and Stencil Bundle to build a soft, subtle gray background. It provides just enough texture without screaming for attention.

On top of that quiet background, I layered a certified classic that you probably already own: the Be Bold Blooms Etched Die Set. It turns out that old favorites and new arrivals get along beautifully when you force them together on a card. I am incredibly happy with how this piece came together, and I think it might just inspire you to dig through your own craft bins today.

Check out more over at the Spellbinders Shop. Watch the how-to tutorial below! I love how this turned out and hope you do too:)
As always, you can watch how I created this card over on my YouTube Channel or down below. Grab your coffee friends and let’s get to crafting! Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you a fun and crafty day! Hugs, Tina
