Hello, Crafty Friends!

Happy 4th of July! While everyone else is busy grilling burgers and dodging rogue fireworks, I am tucked away in my craft room enjoying a different kind of creative freedom. Today, we are celebrating Independence Day the only way a cardmaker truly knows how: by completely ignoring the rules of geography and logic!

Today, we are playing with the Spellbinders July 2026 Club Kits, and I decided to let my imagination wander out into the outside. The star of the show is the gorgeous tree from the Large Die Club. Instead of the usual living room setup, I decided to tuck my tree snugly inside the house, while doubling up on the festive string lights and stringing them across the outside of the window. It is a little upside-down, slightly backward, and exactly the kind of whimsical design that makes people smile when they pull it out of the envelope.

To bring the whole neighborhood together, I also brought in some beautiful textures using the Embossing Folder Club and added the perfect sentiment from the Clear Stamp & Die Club. If you have been looking for a sign to mix up your card layouts and try something wonderfully different, this is it! Grab your glue, and let’s build this cozy window scene together.
