Frankly, This Hot Dog Card Is a Wiener (And How to Make It)

Hi there, creative friends!

Today, we are dishing up a card using the brand-new Hero Arts Coney Club release. Let’s be honest: sometimes a paper crafting release comes along and completely overrides your adult decision-making skills. That is exactly what happened when the new Hero Arts Coney Club collection landed on my desk.

The star of this paper picnic is a frankfurter resting comfortably in a gingham boat created with the Hot Diggity Dog Die Set. To really lean into the diner aesthetic, I skipped the standard cardstock layers and grabbed two actual cut outs from a paper pad that I will call “guest checks” and I also used a genuine paper napkin.

For the background, I used the Hero Arts Organic Shapes stamp to create splatters of ketchup and mustard—minus the vinegar smell and permanent clothing stains. I finished this off with greetings from the Many Franks set, this piece is ready to deliver some high-quality, guilt-free comfort food and thoughts to someone’s mailbox. Enjoy!

So grab a cup of coffee, gather your supplies and let’s get crafty! Thanks so much for stopping by,  wishing you a day filled with crafty supplies, love, laughter and smiles! Sending crafty hugs, Tina. 💌
