Hello there, crafty cardmaking friends!
Let’s face it: making a card for the guys in our lives can feel like trying to solve a math problem in another language. We are channeling our inner mad scientist and getting our hands slightly messy—but in a highly sophisticated way.
We are assembling a rugged, ocean-themed card using a few treasures from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology lineup. To make our lives infinitely easier, Simon Says Stamp created coordinating dies for these pieces, saving our scissors (and our sanity) from fussy cutting.
Our main characters today are the majestic creatures from the Sea Life stamp set, paired with the beautifully minuscule Tiny Text stamps. We will be building up layers of gritty texture and rich color. It is safe to say we are hovering in the realm of semi-mixed media here. So, put on your favorite apron, embrace the ink smudges, and let’s enjoy creating something truly unique together.
