Hello Everyone! Happy Friday to you! Sending some “Whimsical” smiles!
Today we are playing with the Spellbinders Whimsical Village collection by Vicky Papaioannou, and the results are wonderfully cheerful.
For the first project, I paired the Whimsical Blooms dies with the Whimsical Skies 3D Embossing Folder. I arranged three bright, summer-colored flowers right on top of that beautifully textured arrangement of circles. It instantly looks like a sunny afternoon, I think.
Next, I decided to break the rules a little with the Whimsical Houses die set. Instead of building a neighborhood for tiny humans, I used the stems from the flower set to turn those little buildings into birdhouses. It gives the card a silly, unexpected look that makes me chuckle every time I see it. Let’s get into the step-by-step process so you can make your own!
