Cardmaking in 5 Easy Steps – Cards & Coffee Time – May 31, 2026
Grab your ticket and your crafting snacks, because today we are stepping right up to the circus! I have another card to share with you using the Simon Says Stamp June 2026 “Step Right Up” Card Kit and it is literally bursting with flavor. So much that iI created a popcorn explosion!
Using the kit’s exclusive die sets, I built a 3D popcorn box right on the front of my card. To make the kernels look authentic, I treated them with White Heat and Fluff until they puffed up into realistic, tactile little clouds. For that final movie-theater touch, I blended Scattered Straw Distress Oxide over the top for a perfect buttery finish. It turned out so fluffy and realistic, I might need to warn the recipient not to eat it!
