Two Fun Interactive Cards with Hero Arts Packed with Love Collection

Cardmaking in 5 Easy Steps – Cards & Coffee Time – January 20, 2026

Hi, creative friends! We’re about to create two ridiculously fun interactive birthday cards that are practically guaranteed to surprise your recipients and totally make them grin. Today, we’re getting our hands dirty with some die-cutting, messing around with actual kitchen foil (fancy, right?) Plus a bunch of other out-of-the-box ideas!

I love how the Hero Well Preserved Stamp and Cut Set cozies up with the Hero Arts Big Mouth Sardine Tin. And get this: that sardine tin is engineered to work seamlessly with the Big Mouth Slider die for an effortless kinetic card. My first card uses that “big mouth die” mechanism, but for the second one, I’m gonna spill the beans on a sneaky-easy way to create a surprise element without it. It’s actually super simple – no rocket science here, promise. Enjoy the tutorial and let’s get crafty!

So grab a cup of coffee, gather your supplies and let’s get crafty! Thanks so much for stopping by,  wishing you a day filled with crafty supplies, love, laughter and smiles! Sending crafty hugs, Tina. 💌

  1. Not only are these cards the total BOMB, but you made my heart so happy with the unbridled joy you had making them. I sure love these (& you!).
