A Christmas card with the Papertrey Ink – Elegant Edges: Holly Berry

Hello crafty friends! Tina here, I hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I am sharing a paper pieced Christmas card with layered pine cones. The lovely Elegant Edges: Holly Berries Die and a pine cone from the Into the Blooms: Pine Die, both are from Papertrey Ink and are part of the fabulous September release! I love to create cards by inlaying and love the look of the layered elements, today we are combining both. I used the sentiment from the Larger than Life: Believe Mini Stamp Set. I went to traditional colors of Christmas with Pure Poppy and New Leaf cardstock for inlaying my holly and the bottom half of my card, adding a bit of shading to my holly with Ripe Avocado Ink. For my pine cones I used white cardstock and shaded that with Dark Chocolate Ink, I love the dimension it adds. For finishing touches I used glossy accents, threaded a few silver bells through Rustic Cream Button Twine and then added a few Clear Gems.
