Playful Autumn Card

Hello Crafty Friends!  I am delighted to share a card that features one of the new stencil sets in the Newton’s Nook Designs Shop, part of the fabulous August 2021 Release. My project today is using the Newton’s Nook Designs – Candy Corn Stencil set with and older stamp set called Candy Corn with the Candy Corn Coordinating Dies.  I love candy corn of all the Halloween candy out there. No one else in the family likes it so a bag will last me all through the fall season:) Originally, I was planning on creating one card today but found the stenciling outcome to be amazing and didn’t want to cover it up with a large tag, so I created a tag too! I hope you enjoy my card project!

I love the 3D look and the sparkle that glimmer paste and texture paste made. It looked good enough to eat!! I stenciled on a pale grey cardstock so the candy would stand out. I used the Circle Frame Dies to stamp my sentiment on and thought we needed a playful image to go with the Candy Corn Stamped image. I brought in one of the puppies from the NND Playful Puppies Stamp set and used the Coordinating Dies to cut him out. I used the Fancy Edges Tag Die set for my tag and used the candy and sentiment from the Candy Corn Stamp Set.
