  1. So pretty! I love the colors and background design, and the sentiment is beautiful! Awesome graduation card too!

  2. I love the use of the background Stamp over the stripes. I’m going to give this a try. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. Both of these cards are fantastic!! I love how you used your paper scraps to stamp a background on! The color are so pretty and I’m always looking for ways to use my scraps!! Thanks for this excellent idea!!

  4. Tina – I love this clean and simple design, that has all the layers from strips to ink to actual vellum and cardstock mats. So many times I overthink and stress over intricate designs that may not even get finished. Thanks for the reminder that clean, simple steps can produce elegant and beautiful results, just like your card!

  5. I love this card, Tina. It was not complicated… you saved time by just using the versa mark to get a watermark sort of image of the doodled circles. You used up scraps of colored cardstock and you brought in a black backer to draw together the sentiment and the rest of the card. Terrific !! Love it!

  6. Very clever way to make a background with the the scraps, and the graduation card is so classy! Love that dots background!

  7. Thanks for showing how you made this card because I really want to find a creative way to use my scraps, so will definitely be employing this method.

    Kind regards.
