Hello and Welcome to my Blog Crafty Friends!  I hope your having a great week!  So happy you are here. This is the time of year I am gearing up for Valentine’s Day. I have sweets on the brain and thought I would be fun to create some cookie pockets for the Newton’s Nook Designs 7th Annual Sweet Treats Blog Hop.   I am so excited you are joining us!!

For my cookie pockets I stamped the flowers and leaves on colored cardstock and heat set them with white embossing powder. The stamp set I used is the NND Lovely Blooms Stamp set along with the Coordinating Lovely Blooms Die set. It was perfect for customizing each of the cookies:) I wanted to add some subtle hearts on the pocket background and the Tumbling Hearts Stencil worked out great with the hearts cascading in a variety of sizes from small to larger.  I used the Circle Frames Die Set to create a scalloped layered home for my sentiments.  I have to say…they make the perfect valentine for these sweets.

  38. I like that the card/boxes are peek a boo. I also love how you used the tumbling hearts for the envelopes. That is a great detail.
