Altenew – Cora Louise Peony Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Altenew Build-A-Flower Cora Louise Peony

It’s Always nice to start at the beginning: Visit the Altenew Card Blog

Hello and Happy New Year crafty friends!!! I am super excited to start the new year off with a project for the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise Peony Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. This stamp is a beautiful layering flower set. Super easy to create stunning dimensional flowers with layers and I am also excited to be a guest designer for this release. I created my background using the Altenew Angled Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder and vellum. To layer the flowers I used the Sugarplums Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set and for the leaves I thought I would use a few golden colors from the Fall Harvest Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set. I love how it turned out and hope you do too!

  1. Tina, I always love your videos and am so happy to find you here with Altenew in the past few weeks. How did you ever come up with that unique color combination. I think it is stunning! Wish I had waited until today to place my last Altenew order. That embossing folder would have definitely been on it!

  2. What a lovely card — and thank you for the great video. I especially liked that you showed that you, too, get ink where you don’t want it and can cover it up.

  3. I love this card! I have this embossing folder and want to make a background like yours with the lovely vellum sentiment. And the flowers you made are so pretty, especially in lavender and with the fun yellow leaves.
