Altenew Build-A-Flower Cora Louise Peony

It’s Always nice to start at the beginning: Visit the Altenew Card Blog

Hello and Happy New Year crafty friends!!! I am super excited to start the new year off with a project for the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise Peony Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. This stamp is a beautiful layering flower set. Super easy to create stunning dimensional flowers with layers and I am also excited to be a guest designer for this release. I created my background using the Altenew Angled Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder and vellum. To layer the flowers I used the Sugarplums Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set and for the leaves I thought I would use a few golden colors from the Fall Harvest Crisp Dye Ink Mini Cube Set. I love how it turned out and hope you do too!

  1. Tina, I always love your videos and am so happy to find you here with Altenew in the past few weeks. How did you ever come up with that unique color combination. I think it is stunning! Wish I had waited until today to place my last Altenew order. That embossing folder would have definitely been on it!

  2. What a lovely card — and thank you for the great video. I especially liked that you showed that you, too, get ink where you don’t want it and can cover it up.

  3. I love this card! I have this embossing folder and want to make a background like yours with the lovely vellum sentiment. And the flowers you made are so pretty, especially in lavender and with the fun yellow leaves.

  4. Tina I love you r card, the moment i saw this on my insta feed I had to visit the blog to see how you created this beautiful masterpiece. the embossed background and the placement of the vellum paper. and most importantly the color combination is just perfect. I love what you have crated. i would love to see more of these cards .. they add joy and cheer to me I wonder the smiles on the recipient.

  5. Beautiful card. Loved the video too. The peonies and leaves look so nice with the gold embossing and then the stamping. Love the colors you used too. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent and ideas and inspiration with us. Happy New Year! 🙂
