Newton’s Nook Designs – Sweet Treats Blog Hop

6th Annual Sweet Treats Blog Hop

The Newton’s Nook Designs Team is hopping along today to share some great Sweet Treats – just in time for Valentines day! Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the whole list and hop along and comment for a chance to win!

Hello and Welcome to my Blog Crafty Friends!  I hope your having a great weekend!  So happy you are here. This is the time of year I am gearing up for Valentine’s Day. I have strawberries on the brain and thought I would be fun to create some tags for the Newton’s Nook Designs 6th Annual Sweet Treats Blog Hop.

Every year I make dozens…well hundreds of Chocolate Covered Strawberries for Valentine’s Day at work.  I haven’t made any yet, I actually used my prop strawberries for my project today, lol:)

For my tags I added the strawberries and sentiments from the  Newton’s Nook Designs “Love & Chocolate Stamp set coloring them with copic markers.  I used the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set , the Frames & Flags Die set along with the Darling Hearts Die set to create my tags.  I have to say…they make the perfect tags for these sweets.  I suppose you could say my treats are a bit on the healthy side, right!!  Uh, huh!  Sure:)

  1. Seeing all of those chocolate-covered strawberries
made me want to go to the store to get some.
Been looking forward to this time for awhile.
    thanks for sharing txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com

  2. These look so yummy! And I don’t even like chocolate. I’m booking marking this to use for our Mother’s Day luncheon that our church does if that’s ok.
