Featured Guest Designer
Hello Crafty Friends! I am so excited to be a guest designer for Newton’s Nook – Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Week! This is an annual event hosted by Newton’s Nook for the Holiday season and I am so happy I have been invited to be part of it. My projects today feature the Frosty Folks Stamp Set and the Purr-fect Present stamp set. I just love snowmen and this set reminded me so much of my sisters:) There are 5 of us and this sentiment just cracked me up!! Although I know “they” wouldn’t admit it…I think we all have a bit of flakiness in us, lol:)
I created my background with bright Distress Oxide Inks and love how cheery it came out! For bells and whistles I added a touch of Glitter drops:)
The Purr-fect Present was just the right size to create a handmade tag. I created the same background as I did with the card just turned one side upside down and colored the present a different color.
As an added touch I used the bakers twine that Newton’s Nook Designs uses when they send our goodies to us, tied up with a pretty bow.
