Cardmaking in 5 Easy Steps – April 07, 2026 – Cards & Coffee Time
I put together two cards that really let the patterned paper take the lead—both following a simple, 5-step process with the same layout. The Simple Stories Simple Vintage Lavender Fields 6×8 Paper Pad has such a beautiful weight and design that I kept the additions minimal, using just a few coordinating brads for texture. For dimetion I did add a few extra blloms to the cut-apart and I love how it turned out!
To finish the look, I detailed the bottom edges with two of my favorite border dies and added a single lavender flower die. It’s a thoughtful way to create something special without overcomplicating the process, enjoy!
