Hey everyone, and welcome back to my blog!
Did you ever look at a piece of acetate and think, “This is made for more than just shaker cards?” Well, this tutorial breaks the cycle! We are getting crafty using the December 2025 Spellbinders Club Kits to explore two super fun, pretty-in-pink card projects. These projects prove that acetate can be used for things other than shaker cards. Who knew it would be this amazing…..well, I did. I have actually used these techniques before and wanted to share them again:)

Project 1: Spa Day Diva
First, the delightful December Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club kit was used. This set includes a large die-cut image of a girl looking ready for some serious R&R, complete with cucumbers on her eyes (because, obviously). Her diva status was taken a step further with a custom, one-of-a-kind ponytail.
To sell the spa experience, an acetate background with realistic water droplets was created, making it look like she’s chilling in a shower or steam room.

Project 2: All the Love
For the second card, the December Embossing Folder of the Month Club was used. This folder has an awesome love/heart vibe that just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Playing on that theme, a layered heart center was crafted and adorned with delicate flowers, also sourced from the December Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club kit. This one was really easy to create and took no time at all.

Hopefully, these ideas inspire creativity and thinking beyond the shaker box with supplies, especially that versatile acetate. Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you a Sunshiny and Lovely day! Hugs, Tina
