Cardmaking in 5 Easy Steps – November 18, 2025
The holiday crafting season has officially begun with the “And Everything Nice” Release from Simon Says Stamp. This frosty, festive card provides cozy winter vibes.
A cooler, more serene color scheme was chosen, skipping the traditional reds and greens. A sheet of teal cardstock was used as the base, and a subtle, icy background was stenciled using blue ink on colored carsdstock. This creates a dreamy foundation for the whole scene.
The Frosty Tree Gathering Die set was used as the focal point. These intricate beauties were die-cut from crisp white cardstock. They are delicate and detailed, adding a touch of winter texture. They were layered on the stenciled panel. The new “Merry” stamp set from the same release provided the perfect greeting. The simple, classic “Merry” was white heat embossed, making sure it popped against the white trees, much nicer than the gold I had originally used.
