Cardmaking with Simon Hurley’s Christmas Hugs Bundle
Hi there! Christmas stamps can be used for more than just Christmas. Sometimes a bit of sparkle is needed to brighten someone’s day, especially during winter! This unique handmade card features the adorable Simon Hurley Christmas Hugs Stamp set. It’s perfect for sending a hug.
This card’s structure and the way the pandas are used make it special. It has a center gate fold opening. When closed, two penguins sit along the joined edges, it’s a cohesive image from the outside.
The real fun happens when it’s opened! The gate fold splits the pandas, so one is on the left inner flap and the other is on the right. This adds a fun, interactive element.
The greeting from the stamp set, “You’re flippin’ awesome”, is perfect for the design. It ties in with the penguins’ change in position and adds a cheerful message.
To make the card pop, Simon Hurley’s Crocodile Tears Solar Paste was used for some extra shimmer. This paste gives a beautiful shine that adds a little magic to the winter theme.
