A Christmas Card with the Spellbinders 12 days of Stitchmas Advent Calendar 2025!

Sharing 2 delightfully delicious stitched cards today! It’s Day 5 of the Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas Advent Calendar for 2025, and guess what? Cocoa and Christmas are my kryptonite! When I stumbled upon the adorable cocoa cup behind the Day 5 door, I was hit with a wave of nostalgia—like a cozy blanket of marshmallows! It reminds me of those times when my mom launched Operation Cocoa Cup, sending out festive hot chocolate cups stuffed with treats that could almost make you forget about Santa’s cookies. Now, I keep the tradition alive by sending joyful, cocoa-filled surprise packages to my sisters and their families—because nothing says “I love you” quite like a box of Christmas cheer, right?

I have been enjoying the soft colors of Chiffon and Seaside Cardstock, which pair nicely with Pomegranate and Truffle Cardstock. The postage die set from Day 4 makes a perfect backdrop for my cocoa mug. Instead of stitching the edge, I wrapped Vivant Gold Thread around three of them to match the gold trees I stitched on the Day 5 mug. I’m happy with how this turned out and hope you are too! 🙂
