Papertrey Ink – Stained Glass Windows Cardmaking Inspiration and Tutorial

Hi there, fabulous cardmaking crafters!

Hope your day is going fabulously! I’ve got another Christmas card to share that’s perfect for the festive Christmas Season. The Papertrey Ink Stained Glass Window Die set is such a showstopper and yet it is super easy to make without having to inlay those bits and pieces. I used a fancy technique that I call messy coloring. lol!

For today’s card I added detail to my background with the Coverplate: Quilted Die and off white cardstock. I used a thicker cardstock so the pieces of the Stained Glass Windows would stay in place while diecutting. I used alcohol markers to color in each section and then added gold cardstock over that, voila!

Super easy and pretty. I also used the pine sprig from the Into the Blooms: Christmas Sprigs Die set and a few stars from the Starry Delight 7 Die set. For my greeting I used the Larger than Life Pease stamp & Die. I added a bit more sparkle with Rainbow Gems. Don’t forget to drop by the Papertrey Ink Shop and check out the latest Release!
