A Summery Card with the Papertrey Ink Soak Up the Fun Stamp Set!

Well, hello there, marvelous masters of cardmaking!

Hope you’re having a day so awesome it makes everyone around you smile! Today, we’re chilling with the totally tubular Papertrey Ink Soak Up the Fun Stamp set and the Love to Layer: Arches Die set. Since the Smith house doesn’t come with a built-in pool for these sweltering summer days, this stamp set transported me with its splashes, pink flamingo floatie, and summer cocktail. I gotta say, stamping and layering these images was easier than avoiding the temptation of a second slice of cake. I created my background by ink blending with Hawaiian Shores Ink, adding water droplets to it made a fun watery look. I also used the re-inker, adding darker splatter to it. I love how it turned out! I created a home for my summer images using the largest of the Love to Layer: Arches Die set. Adding Lemon Zest and Orange Zest to create a summer sunset vibe. For finishing touches I used Gold Liquid Pearls on the palm trees to emulate coconuts and used Glossy Accents & iridescent glitter over the cocktail and splashes. It sure does sparkle! I also used the Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores Moonshine Sequins too.
