A Note Card with the Papertrey Ink Into the Blooms: Violets Die Set!

Hey there, fantastic cardmaking friends!

Hope you’re having an awesome day full of crafting magic! Today’s project is a breeze thanks to the Into The Blooms: Violets Die set, which does all the work for me. I’m also breaking out the Glimmer Hot Foil System to add some regal flair to the background of my card. Achieving that luxurious regal look on any flower or background is a piece of cake – just blend in some darker ink around the edges of dark cardstock, it works every time. I’m totally loving the depth and richness it brings to my card project. Both the stamp and blooms are brand new, part of the fantastic May Release from Papertrey Ink. I created my background by hot foiling with the Elegant Script Foil Plate over Royal Velvet cardstock, inking the edges with Dark Indigo ink. I created my violets with the Love to Layer: Violets Die Set and three different colors of cardstock, inking the edges with blue ink. I die cut two panels with the Reflections: May Die set, layering them and placing them to the right of my cardbase. I stamped and heat embossed my greeting using the Reflections: May Stamp set and finished my card by adding small drops of gold in the flower centers with liquid pearls.
