Try It Out Tuesday

Today’s Try Out – Jillibean Soup Call Me Stamp & Die Set – Action Wobbles

I am a first time wobble user, yep. Not a first time wobblerūüėÄ. ¬†For this week’s Try It Out Tuesday I am using a brand new to me stamp set from Jillibean Soup called Call Me. ¬†It is neat because you can make a shaker card with it. ¬†Love that so that’s what I did. ¬†Watch the tutorial on my YouTube channel.

Try It Out Tuesday – New Series

Today’s Try Out – Color Layering Stamps

Hi there! I have a new series I’m calling Try It Out Tuesday. ¬†I thought it would be fun to share something new I’m trying out for the first time.

Layering stamps have been out for a while, I always hesitated buying a layering stamp set because they have their own dimension and adding more didn’t seem right to me. ¬†Usually I like to add lots of dimension & layers to my cards. ¬†Foam tape is my go-to product.

But…..You never know if you don’t try right! So here we are. ¬†I am using the Hero Arts Color Layering Hibiscus click¬†here¬†to go shopping. My opinion, I may not have used the best color coordinating inks. ¬†I may need more practice with layering stamps. Have a great day everyone!

Thanks so much for joining me.  Have a wonderful day!

Easter Card Series – 10 Cards in 10 Days – Card #10

The Final Card in our Easter Card Series. Card 10

I want to thank you all for joining me in this series.  I had such fun using all kinds of new products making these Easter Cards.

For my final card I used an older block stamp and some flower dies.  I love the softness of this card accented with the boldness of gold twine and glitter.  The distress ink added to the edges gave it a vintage look that I just adore.

You can see the tutorial on how I made it on my YouTube channel.

Easter Card Series – 10 Cards in 10 Days – Card 8

Card 8

Hi there friends, today’s card I have used just 2 strips of patterned paper. Yep, that’s it. ¬†To create this beautiful shine I used Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Pure Platinum. It creates a pearl shimmer and it is so versital. It came with the Simon Says Stamp March 2017 Card kit along with the Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny stamp set.

Happy Saturday morning and Happy Crafting!

Easter Card Series – 10 Cards in 10 Days – Card #7

Card 7

Hello Friday Friends! Here it is card 7. ¬†And yes…. It’s a Bunny Tushy card. ¬†Easter time is so much fun and since I am a Baker, this card is cupcake inspired. ¬†Bunny Tushy cupcakes are a big seller during the Easter Holiday so I decided to make a card with that same theme.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny stamp set.  It is my favorite for this series because it has so many fun stamps and sentiments.  I again used a paper pad from my stash, this one is from Studio Calico the Here and There collection.  Visit my YouTube channel for the tutorial on how I made it.

Happy Crafting and Happy Friday!

Easter Card Series -10 Cards in 10 Days – Card 6

Card 6 of our Easter Card Series

Oh my goodness….What a beautiful day here. I finally get to open the windows and let some sunshine in ūüėÄ. ¬†When I look outside, I see spring blossoms on the tree’s, I here birds chirping and there is a soft breeze flowing through the house. ¬†Almost sounds like the beginning of a good book, well how about the beginning of a fun card!

For today’s card I am going back to the wonderful Simon Says Stamp “Some Bunny” Set. ¬†And I am using a 6 x 6 paper pad from my stash by Studio Calico, Snippets Collection. ¬†Gotta use what I have, It’s my new rule….For today at least. You can watch my tutorial on YouTube and follow along, step by step.

Happy Crafting Everyone!
