Altenew | Paint-A-Flower: Clematis & Artist Alcohol Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

It’s Always nice to start at the beginning of a Hop: Visit the Altenew Card Blog!

Hello Crafty friends! I am back again and super excited to create a project for the Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Clematis Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. This stamp set is the perfect focal image for any cardmaking project. It was so pretty I decided not to add a sentiment even though the sentiments are encouraging and customizable. I love water coloring flowers and I am happy to be a guest designer for this release. I created my background using a the Altenew Grid Cover Die that left one row of squares all around my card panel. I colored in my Clematis flowers and lattice with the ALTENEW Watercolor 36 Pan Set. I love how it turned out and hope you do too!

Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F

My next project features one of the New Artist Alcohol Markers Sets that are shown above. I stamped the beautiful floral with the Vintage Garden Stamp Set. I colored in my floral with the Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F and then die cut it out with the Vintage Garden Coordinating Dies. I masked off the center of my card panel with the Altenew Masking Paper (10 sheet/set) and added two of the Fine Frames Rectangles Dies. I am happy to be a guest designer for this release. I love how it turned out and hope you do too!

  2. Your clematis card is wonderful. The flowers are colored beautifully and could almost be violets. The die cut background looks great too. A very well put together piece of art.

  5. So lovely! While I love both, and admire your watercolor talent, the card with the large flower using the new markers just jumps off the page to me. Well done!
