Hello and Happy Thursday Crafty Friends! Welcome to Day 4 of sneak peeks with the Newton’s Nook Designs June 2020 Release and Reveal.  Newton is back with a friend, relaxing on a Porch Swing!!  I am sharing a card project featuring the new Newton’s Porch Swing Stamp Set and coordinating Dies.  This set will make you want to grab a cold glass of lemonade and sit on the porch with these lovely furbabies:)

I framed my card using the Framework Die Set.  I created my background with the Evergreens Stencil and the Sky Scene Builder Die set to create a sunshiny day.

NND_RosesMy next card featured the Roses Stamp Set.  I think this set is so very pretty and wanted to create a card that made it stand out:)  I created a background with my oxide inks and also die cut 5 of the rounded banners in the Banner Trio Die set.  I popped up the negative piece with foam tape and inlaid the banners:)  Pretty simple but pretty:)

  2. Pretty simple, but Beautiful!! I love your background idea for the roses ~ so beautiful!! Porch Swing Friends really steals my heart though! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way you’ve dimensionally framed it (the scallop dies are another of my favoirtes!) and the evergreen/sky scene background. Did you use string? If not, it really looks real! ❤ Thanks for the loads of inspiration 🙂

  3. Adding the little thread for the
“ropes” on the swing was a great
idea. Gives a little more fun.
    Love the stripes behind the
    flower on the second card.
